A local friend of mine who has been really helpful to me since I started treatment is having pretty major surgery today to try to get rid of some of her cancer. Send some good thoughts her way!!

- Time for an update: I like hats, which WAS good, because I was hair deficient for a while due to chemo for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I still like my hats, but I'm looking forward to braids again!
